Commercial Executive

Now, we’re looking for a Commercial Executive to join our dynamic team and ensure the seamless flow of fresh tropical fruits from suppliers to customers.
Objectives
To proactively manage internal and external customers. Be the main conduit between the internal and external customer to satisfy the needs of the customer, at the same time ensuring business needs are satisfied. Develop trust and respect with the customer to maximise the profitability of both the customer and the business. Consistently deliver on growth and profitability KPI’s of the company by assisting seeking out new business opportunities. Maximising the profitability of the current business by organic growth/innovation.
Responsibilities
· Processing orders on the internal systems.
· Maintenance of SHP Tropical Commercial information and documentation. · Ensuring accuracy of information and commercial reporting systems.
· Tracking customer KPI’s and completion of regular reports as required.
· Sharing information with the wider business from within the commercial team.
· Assist other team members with preparation for customer meetings and project work.
· Answering calls and messages from customers and the wider business and directing as appropriate.
· Provide administrative support to the Commercial Team (including 3rd party work)
· Providing cover for the weekend commercial rota (1 weekend in 4).
· Deputise for members of Commercial team at internal meetings
Qualifications
· Extensive systems experience, preferably within an ERP environment.
· Excellent numeracy and written skills
· Assertive and confident
· Professional telephone manner and happy to use the telephone as business tool
· Possesses a good working knowledge of Excel.
· Communication skills and a good grasp of English are essential
· Ability to work autonomously or as a team; and work proactively
· Good personal organisation skills and time keeping
· Confident speaking to customers and to colleagues
· Willingness to take calls and answer ad hoc queries at weekends
· Ability to build good working relationships with customers and the wider SH Pratt team(s)
· Results driven and challenging but with an ability to challenge in a positive manner in order to achieve mutually beneficial results · Attention to detail with delivery of information accurately and on time and in a user-friendly format
Location: Spalding, PE11
Shift Pattern: Flexible with working days. Availability to cover weekends – 37.5HPW
